What AXP enables
AXP brings product details and interactive product experiences into shopping with agents. Merchants can offer variants, configurators, reviews and other quality signals in a structured form. Embedded views help customers explore and select products directly inside an assistant.
Connections with other protocols
- The Agentic Commerce Lab project describes AXP as a UCP extension and a standalone protocol. Product selection can connect to a UCP checkout.
- MCP Apps also provides interactive interfaces in assistants. AXP additionally describes commerce data and discovery of the product experiences on offer.
