Agentic commerce is worth testing where customers already have to piece information together or wait for an answer. Three common tasks are choosing a compatible product, repeating an order and resolving a question after purchase. These examples are test scenarios.
Which spare part fits my machine?
A workshop provides a model and year. The agent checks compatibility data, suggests a part and explains what it matched on. If the model number is ambiguous, it asks a specific follow-up. A useful test includes a part with almost the same name that does not fit.
Can I repeat my last order?
An employee asks to reorder last month’s supplies. The agent starts with the original quantities, checks current contract terms and highlights any changes. The order then goes to the person authorised to approve that cost centre. Try it with an item whose price or pack size has changed.
Can I reroute my delivery?
Once the customer signs in, the agent checks the order status. If the shipment can still be changed, it shows the available addresses and the new delivery date. If the parcel is already on its way, it explains how to reach the carrier or customer service. Test both states with the same request.
Start with one workflow. Compare how often it completes correctly, when it needs clarification and when customer service takes over. The Shopware Agentic Commerce Lab documents experiments for individual tasks, including the Merchant Quote Agent for quotes.
